Overview
Over the next year, the Australian Standards for Health Practitioner Pain Management Education will be showcased across conferences, Annual Scientific Meetings (ASM's), parliamentary events and other key sector activities. These opportunities are an important part of socialising the standards and building awareness across the health, education and policy sectors.
Promoting the standards in person helps drive conversation, collaboration and understanding around the importance of high-quality pain management education. It also gives educators, clinicians, health services and decision-makers the opportunity to explore how the standards can support best practice teaching, learning and patient care.
Members of the Governance Advisory Group and the Australian standards team will continue to engage with stakeholders across Australia to help support implementation, encourage uptake and ensure the standards remain visible across the broader healthcare landscape.
