Nominate your #NAD25 champion at your hospital or anaesthesia practice and join us in celebrating National Anaesthesia Day (NAD) on Thursday 16 October.
Last year, more than 50 anaesthesia departments around Australia and New Zealand celebrated ANZCA’s National Anaesthesia Day "You're in safe hands" campaign with displays and information stands in their hospital foyers.
We’re doing it again this year on Thursday 16 October and we hope that you will join us in celebrating National Anaesthesia Day by nominating a #NAD25 champion at your hospital or anaesthesia practice.
Our campaign will focus on real people with real stories and allay the persistent misunderstanding among some in the community that anaesthetists are not doctors.
Champions may want to organise a hospital foyer display, hang posters, share their activities on social media or even organise a #NAD25 bake day.
Find out about this year's champions pack here which includes posters, postcards, patient information fact sheets, kids' activities, banners and a new digital resource, an ANZCA-branded "drag and drop" Canva template you can use to put your whole team in the picture!
What we would like from you:
- Nominate a champion to confirm your department’s interest in participating in #NAD25.
- Send your champion’s contact details and full postal address for delivery of posters to [email protected] or [email protected] no later than Friday 19 September.
