EOI open for development of new perioperative interdisciplinary clinics
Expressions of interest (EOI) for perioperative interdisciplinary clinics profdoc is now open for anaesthetists and pain medicine specialists. This is the first profdoc of the Chapter of Perioperative Medicine.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from anaesthetists and pain medicine specialists to participate in the development of a professional document on perioperative interdisciplinary clinics, the first professional document to be led by the Chapter of Perioperative Medicine.
The development of ANZCA prof docs is undertaken by a document development group (DDG) made up of fellows with expertise and knowledge aligned to the particular document.
The DDG for this prof doc will include in addition to anaesthetists and pain medicine specialists, a geriatrician, a general medicine physician, a surgeon, a pain medicine specialist, an intensivist and a general practitioner.
Serving as a DDG member provides a valuable opportunity to contribute to safety and quality of care for patients. CPD claim entitlements are available to fellows for participation on DDGs.
