Represent FPM research on the ANZCA Clinical Trials Network (CTN) Executive
We’re seeking expressions of interest from fellows with an interest in pain medicine research and the Clinical Trials Network (CTN) to be the Faculty of Pain Medicine Research Committee representative on the ANZCA Clinical Trials Network Executive.
The FPM Research Committee representative plays an important role in ensuring pain medicine research is represented within the broader ANZCA research agenda and in fostering collaboration between the CTN and the Faculty of Pain Medicine.
Key functions of the role include:
- Representing the interests and priorities of the FPM Research Committee on the ANZCA CTN Executive, ensuring pain medicine research is embedded within CTN initiatives.
- Strengthening collaboration between the CTN Executive, FPM Research Committee and FPM Research Network to identify opportunities for multicentre pain medicine research.
- Contributing to the CTN's strategic leadership by supporting investigator-initiated clinical trials, research capacity building and interdisciplinary collaboration across anaesthesia, perioperative medicine and pain medicine.
- Participating in executive activities including trial endorsement processes, pilot grant administration, research workshops, mentoring emerging investigators and advocacy for high-quality clinical research.
