On behalf of the co-convenors of the 2025 Combined SIG meeting, we invite you to join us from 5-7 September at the Mantra on Salt Beach, Kingscliff, northern NSW. Hosted by the Communication in Anaesthesia SIG, the theme this year is “Can you hear me now?". We’re thrilled to announce our invited keynote speaker is the award-winning author, educator, and renowned speaker Michael Bungay Stanier. A native Australian, Michael is a former Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University and now lives in Toronto, Canada. His 2016 book, The Coaching Habit, has sold more than a million copies and has been translated into 20 languages. Michael will give a presentation on "How to work with almost anyone" on Friday afternoon and a "The five question leader workshop" on Saturday morning.

The event will feature a wide range of topics and discussions, including updates from the Wellbeing, Medical Education and Leadership and Management SIG's.

Non-members of ANZCA can register online too. Once you have completed your registration you will be provided with a college ID number and prompted for a password. This will allow you to register online for future meetings as well so please keep your college ID number.
Your registration will include all refreshment breaks, the welcome reception and plenary sessions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Workshops are at an additional cost.

Participants in the ANZCA and FPM CPD Program will automatically have their attendance auto-populated to their CPD portfolio within 14 days of the conclusion of the meeting.

This event is claimable by ANZCA and FPM CPD participants within the practice evaluation, knowledge and skills, or emergency responses categories.

Category 3: Emergency responses
Where the workshop states that its satisfies an Emergency response CPD requirement, it has been recognised as suitable to be claimed as an emergency response activity, such as the CICO workshop.

If you’re not participating in the ANZCA and FPM CPD program, please check with your respective college/provider regarding your CPD classifications. Post-event, you may request an electronic certificate of attendance for CPD evidence from the event organiser.
